The couple told the officer that they wanted the owner cited for letting the dog on their property again. The owner of the pit bull said he was home when his dog got out, went straight over to get it and noticed his neighbors were outside. He said he asked them if they were already calling the police and they said they were. The man was issued a summons for his dog not being under control.
