Lewinsky will be joined by a panel of local experts who will talk about their efforts to create cultural change focused on resilience, as well as increasing social connectedness around mental health and suicide.
Panelists for the Making a Difference evening event include:
Rowan Blaisdell, psychotherapist and co-founder of the Rainbow Youth Center.Sean Hembree, Durango High School counselor.Liane Jollon, executive director of the San Juan Basin Health Department.Rhonda Ledford, founder of the CODY project, after experiencing the loss of a child to suicide.Leonard Martinez, school resource police officer with Durango School District 9-R.Matisse Monty, FLC graduating senior and active member of WellPAC.The panel of local experts will share resources and efforts related to important mental health issues in our region, and there will be time for questions from the audience.

Tickets for Wednesday’s event are $100 and can be purchased at www.swcommunityfoundation.org. This event will be a limited-seating luncheon with a storytelling focus. Lewinsky will be joined by locals who will share their struggles to overcome bullying.
