Here are closures of U.S. Highway 160 for Sunday, Oct. 6 to Saturday, Oct. 12 from the Colorado Department of Transportation:
U.S. Highway 160 eastbound and westbound between Cortez and Towaoc (mile marker 37 to 27) (through October 2013) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, there will be one lane alternating traffic for paving operations. 15 minute delays possible.
From Sunday, Oct. 6, to Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, U.S. Highway 160 eastbound-westbound from U.S. Highway 550/Frontage Road/La Posta Road between West Turner Road and River Road in Durango (mile marker 85.5) (through December 2013) 24 hours — All lanes closed on the frontage road also known as La Posta Road or County Road 213 for access construction by Mercury Village in Bodo Industrial Park. Closure began Sept. 12, 2013 and continues through Dec. 9, 2013. No lane closures will be in effect on U.S. Highway 160/550 main line. However 24-hour closures on side roads will be in effect from Sept. 12, 2013 to Dec. 9, 2013.
U.S. Highway 160 eastbound-westbound, west of Pagosa Springs (mile marker 131-134.5) through October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, there will be one lane alternating traffic for intersection improvements at Hurt Drive and Badger Road west of Pagosa Springs. In addition, resurfacing, shoulder improvements, and guardrail installation will take place. Delays are possible. For information call 970-731-2918.
