Southwest Health System is asking residents to apply for openings on its board of directors, noting that the board is a vital part of guiding local healthcare services.
Members of the board support SHS’s mission, influence the delivery of healthcare services and have opportunities for professional development, collaboration and leadership experience. The commitment for board members is typically eight to 10 hours per month with participating in board education, committee work and regular meetings.
Interested members of the community should submit an online application with a resume or curriculum vitae for consideration and review by SHS’s nominating committee. The first round of reviews will consider applications that are received by July 31.
Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews, which will take place on either Aug. 10 or Aug. 12 in the Kiva Conference Room at Southwest Memorial Hospital.
