The topic I will cover is broken promises. So far, our current president has not kept many of his campaign promises. He said he was not going to start a war, he was going to release the Epstein files – oops, he forgot to mention all the redactions – and he was going to lower prices for all of us. The list goes on and on.
He has broken most of his promises, except for one. He promised oil companies that if they backed him with millions of dollars to get elected, he would do whatever they wanted. The trumped-up war with Iran benefits oil companies immensely. It is consumers and our soldiers who are paying the price.
He is also gutting the EPA whenever possible so oil and gas companies do not have to comply with environmental standards. The other day, the president paid off some offshore wind projects and is using taxpayer money to expand oil and gas exploration.
When will the madness end? I wonder every day what disaster will happen next. Scary times for Americans.
