An open letter to Congressman Hurd:
How many glaring signs of madness does a president need to show you before you initiate action to remove him? Your inaction makes you personally deserving of whatever trouble he causes for you. The problem is, most of the rest of us do not.
Also, it is not your job to ignore this war and hide behind the president’s decisions. Whether it is a declaration of war or merely a vote to grant the executive war powers, it is up to Congress to take a public position on the war with Iran. Vote it up or vote it down. That is what our founders intended when they wrote our Constitution.
