Vendor applications are now open for the 2026 Third Thursdays series in Montezuma Park, with the markets scheduled for four Thursdays – June 18, July 17, Aug. 20 and Sept. 17.
The free community events will run from 5 to 8 p.m. each date and will feature local vendors offering coffee, art, jewelry, candles and scents, plants, artisan goods, craft supplies and stationery, thrift and upcycled fashion and other items.
The events will also feature live music, with featured artists Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience on June 18, the Darren Nicholson Band on July 17, Flagship Romance and The Rough & The Tumble on Aug. 20 and Red Camel Collective on Sept. 17.
Vendors may apply for individual events or for all four dates. Those who commit to all dates will receive an approximate 20% discount, according to the city’s website. Food truck vendor applications are not being accepted at this time.
Assigned spaces will be provided, and setup will begin at 3:30 p.m. for each event. No early setup is permitted, but the city asks that vendors arrive on time and be ready to sell by 5 p.m.
Vendors with “information only” booths are not permitted to sell items, and charitable donations may not be collected at the markets.
Applications may be submitted online at www.cortezco.gov. Once an application is received and approved, the city will email applicants with next steps. Payment is required before a vendor spot is confirmed, and payments are nonrefundable. A space will be assigned once payment is received in full.
Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card and check, but applicants should not submit payment until receiving approval from the city.
