Farmington Police have identified the two teenagers killed in a shooting early Sunday morning.
The victims have been identified as Lamar White, 15, of Farmington, and Jesse Dalton Hensley, 19, of Aztec, according to spokeswoman Shanice Gonzales.
Police were called at 1:54 a.m. to East Murray Drive and Camina Entrada, where they found White, Hensley and another person with gunshot wounds, Gonzales said.
All three individuals were taken to San Juan Regional Medical Center for treatment, and only one survived.
“The incident does not appear to be a random act of violence,” Gonzales said, adding that all three people knew each other.
“We believe at least two people discharged a firearm,” Gonzales said.
A motive for the shooting incident was not given.
Police have interviewed a person of interest, but no arrests have been made, according to Gonzales, who said “detectives are attempting to locate additional witnesses for interviews.”
