The final round of the 2025 Motocross season ended with Jett Lawrence being officially named overall champion after placing first and second in Saturday’s races. Hunter Lawrence placed second, and Eli Tomac placed third overall.
Though Jett Lawrence clinched his win at Round 10, he furthered his points in Round 11 to 509 over Hunter Lawrence (454) and Tomac (395).
In the first race, Jett Lawrence claimed the hole shot, followed by Justin Cooper in second and Coty Schock in third. Tomac started in seventh.
Cooper attempted to pass Jett Lawrence in the first lap, but Lawrence fought back, maintaining his lead.
R.J. Hampshire moved to third, while Hunter Lawrence raced in fourth and Tomac in fifth. Dylan Ferrandis and Jorge Prado, who have both dealt with injuries in the past year, battled for sixth.
Hampshire began putting pressure on Cooper around the three minute mark, but Hampshire was passed by Hunter Lawrence.
Jett Lawrence placed first, followed by Cooper and Hunter Lawrence.
In the second race, Hunter Lawrence took the hole shot, with Jett Lawrence and Prado close behind. Tomac started outside of the top 20.
Cooper moved to third, while Hunter Lawrence maintained his lead by a little over a second. By the 10-minute mark, he had increased his lead to nearly three seconds.
Soon, Tomac cracked the top 10 pack, moving into ninth place.
By the final lap, Hunter Lawrence had extended his lead to nearly 10 seconds, cruising ahead of his brother and the rest of the pack. Hampshire passed Cooper, while Tomac moved to eighth.
Hunter Lawrence placed first, Jett Lawrence second and Hampshire placed third.
Hampshire placed fifth overall for his first season in the 450 class.
