Accountant Erin Neer has joined the Region 9 Economic Development District’s business loan fund committee.

Neer is the owner of SweetBooks LLC, which has been in business since 2010. SweetBooks serves nonprofits and small businesses in Southwest Colorado. She also is owner and founder of MUNIRevs LLC, an automated revenue collection software for municipalities.

Neer was approved by the Region 9’s executive committee in December.

Region 9’s loan committee is composed of two representatives from each of the five counties in Southwest Colorado, plus two at-large positions with at least one person with loan making experience, one person with an accounting background, one person with a real estate background and two with a background in business.
