The 26th annual 4-Corners Board of Realtors Parade of Lights will be held Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. on Main Street Cortez.

The theme of the parade is “A Christmas Nest,” tied to the legend that if you find a nest in your Christmas tree, your family will have luck the following year.

The grand marshal this year is 4 Corners Child Advocacy Center, (The Nest), and the theme was chosen in part to honor the grand marshal.

There is no fee to have an entry in the parade, but an entry form is required. The 4-Corners Board of Realtors awards cash prizes for first, second and third-place winners in three categories. Judges will be at Market and Main street observing the floats.
