The drawing for the Annual Raffle was held February 10 at 4 pm, at the Recreation Center. The winner of the Recreation Center Annual Family Pass was Kim Parr. The value of the annual family pass for a family of four is $429. The second place prize, a 20 punch pass, went to Colorado Title and Closing Services and the third place prize went to Jeanie Hodges. The third place prize is free participation in an exercise class donated by Rayna Hale. Congratulations to the winners!

Thanks to all the businesses and individuals in the community who bought raffle tickets during January and February and made this fundraiser so successful. This fundraiser is for the non-profit organization Friends of Recreation for a Healthy Community which provides scholarships for persons who can not afford the entrance fees at the Recreation Center. The scholarships are granted to families or single individuals at the beginning of each month and are granted for a period of three months at a time. Please see the application form for more details. Application forms are available at the main desk at the Cortez Recreation Center.
