SWIMMNG LESSONS

The Town of Mancos Parks & Recreation has scheduled vans to take local children to two sessions of swimming lessons in Cortez.

The first session will be June 24 to July 5, and the second will be July 8 to July 19. Times will be announced after registration.

Children ages 7 and older are eligible, and the fee is $45 per child. There is a minimum of five children and a maximum of nine for the van.

Forms can be picked up at Town Hall. Registration for the first session is due by June 18, and the deadline for the second session is July 2, by 4 p.m. at Town Hall.

Drivers are needed for these sessions, and must have a valid driver's license. A background check is required.

Karate

Karate will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Community Center Rates

Community Center rates have changed to $10 an hour for local residents nad $20 for out-of-state users.
