I want to speak strongly as the other “mostly silenced” voice of the people who live in San Juan County, Utah.

Who better than us (or our former kinsmen) should have a say in what happens in their own lands that they have cherished and worked for, the people of Southern Utah or those with no claims to the land?

People have a natural love of their own habitat and rightly feel protective of it, as they should.

In the case of the Bears Ears I suggest that you can follow the money (and those who desire power).
