Mancos Harvest Festival takes place Sept. 11

The third annual Mancos Fall Harvest Festival will take place Sept. 11.

Participants at the family-friendly potluck meal and are asked to bring tables and chairs, which will line Grand Avenue near Main Street.

Prizes will be given for historic costumes from the pre-1900, 1901-1940 and 1941-2000 eras. A male and female winner will be selected in each category.

Setup begins at 4:30 p.m., with costume judging at 5 p.m. and the shared meal at 5:30 p.m. The Mancos Public Library will have activities for children.

Sign up for the costume contest at the judges’ table in the Community Center.
