4:24 p.m. A cash door opened on the ATM at Bank of the San Juans, 1710 Main Ave., but no money came out.

7:06 p.m. A driver in a dark-green Jeep sped by a house driving on tire rims in the west 300 block of 23rd Street. Police arrested someone on suspicion of drunken driving.

Saturday

2:21 a.m. Someone reported trash in the road near Seventh Street and Main Avenue.

4:38 p.m. Eleven people were smoking marijuana and had open containers while floating in the Animas River near 33rd Street.

5:51 p.m. A man was walking in the middle of the road, and he as attempting to punch cars in the 900 block of Roosa Avenue.

Friday

9:10 a.m. A man was passed out in the cafe at the DoubleTree, 501 Camino del Rio.

9:54 a.m. Someone reported the theft of a sculpture in the 2900 block of Main Avenue.

12:59 p.m. A man carrying a large cross was yelling about the Bible at Ninth Street and Main Avenue. Police issued a verbal warning for causing a noise disturbance.

8:47 p.m. A 58-year-old man was bit by a rattlesnake near County Road 210 and the west frontage road for South Camino del Rio.

Firefighters and medics responded to 64 calls Thursday through Sunday, including a fire alarm, a gas leak, a vehicle on fire, two assaults, three brush fires, six traffic crashes and seven people who fell down.
