Thoughts on the Farmers Market and the community center

Editor:

Two thoughts:

First, the vendors at the Farmers' Market know the customers stop from about 2:30 to 5:30, not the 4 to 7 p.m. the town advertises. Also, there may be liability issues with the vendors being on the grass near the highway, but it is much more lucrative on that grass section than in the "park."

Second, the Dolores Community Center does not compete very well for rates vs. other locations in the area that offer $50/day, so maybe the issue is that the Dolores Community Center is overpriced and could be busier if the price was lower and had more use-days.

Just a couple of thoughts.
